John Howie - John is Chief Operating Officer of the Cloud Security Alliance, responsible for worldwide operations, and a Director of CloudCERT, a CSA initiative that brings together cloud providers, telecommunications operators, and established CERTs, CSIRTs, and ISACs to cooperatively defend the cloud computing ecosystem from cybercriminals, cyber terrorists and nation states preparing for or engaging in cyber espionage and cyber warfare. John has over twenty years of experience working in information and communications technology in a variety of industry sectors including financial, telecommunications, entertainment, education and software manufacturing. Prior to joining the Cloud Security Alliance, John managed the groups responsible for security in the datacenters of a leading cloud provider. John is a Visiting Professor at Edinburgh Napier University, in the School of Computing, a Visiting Research Professor in the Eller College of Management and the College of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Arizona, is a member of the editorial advisory board for the Journal of Information Management and Computer Security, is a member of the certification advisory board for certifications of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, and is an advisor to the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute's Security Governance/Counter-Terrorism Laboratory.

bradwheeler1 Brad Wheeler - Since 2007, Brad has served as Indiana University's Vice President for IT and CIO, and he is also Professor of Information Systems in the IU Kelley School of Business. Over the past decade, Wheeler has co-founded and led over $60M of pooled university investments in open source software communities for Sakai and Kuali; co-founded the HathiTrust and Digital Preservation Network; and led IU's new model for digital textbooks. He sees the professoriate as a great foundation for leading and innovating in the many challenges facing higher education.
